The 2013 Nexus 7 as only sold in Black by Google. But that changed yesterday with a new white variant of the popular budget tablet being launched. This variant has now been spotted in the UK with the same price tag as the black variant, so the customers have one new variant to choose from. The tablet costs £239.99, so nothing’s changed in that regard.Unfortunately, Google is only offering the 32GB Wi-Fi only variant in white right now while the entry level 16GB model and the 32GB LTE variant are only available in Black. Not surprisingly, this is the case with the American Play Store as well, so it is possible that Google is offering the White Nexus 7 only with the 32GB Wi-Fi configuration. Google is offering free ground shipping in the UK for a short period to make the deal even sweeter for potential buyers. Adding a new color variant is certainly a welcome addition, although the lack of options could be a deal breaker for a few out there.
