James Cagney is fantastic. And Margaret Wycherly deserved an SAA for her performance

Not a big fan of these kind of movies, but this one was good!

I love the Cagney gangster epics. He's like a tiny bundle oy dynamite in them!

I used to have a poster of him from the end of the film, stood atop the gas dome, surrounded by flames with a manic grin on his face. Superb.

I haven't seen this film in ages, but I remember the scene where they bundle a man into the boot of a car and then he tells Cody Jarrett (James Cagney) that he can't breathe.
Without a care, and chewing on a chicken leg, Cagney shoots about 5 bullets into the boot
