Black text on a non-white background has weird quite annoying 'halo' around it... I heard this is something called "cleartype effect'
I followed instructions to turn it off from my vista... Turned out it was never on.
I recently upgraded to use ATI Radeon HD 5850 as my graphics card on a LG Full HD LCD TV (1080p)
...I thoroughly searched the TV menus and ATI Control Center but didnt find anything that would do the halo effect.
How do I turn this effect off before it utterly destroys my eyes???
