White eye in camera flash?

So I was looking though pictures and I found a picture of me and I had a white eye. One eye was white, and the other was just normal red eye.
Should I be concerned? That was the only picture I have ever seen of me with a white eye and the picture was taken last September.
 
The red eye is a normal reflection of the flash off the retina. White eye means that the light didn't reflect off the retina. If it's only one photo, and it's not the most recent one, don't worry. If is showing up now, get an eye exam to rule out any problems.
