white bikes

I noticed that Suzuki makes a 2006 C50C. There are a few differences between that an the C50 like higher handlebars, studded seat and it is available in white. I like a white bike. Does color affect trade in, resale, etc.? Do you like a white bike? Would the color affect your buying it?

would YOU buy a pink bike with powerpuff girls stickers on it? how about a nice poo-brown?

white is bad on cars since rust shows up REALLY quickly, but should be ok on bikes. i once saw a really nice pearly white HD Softail Deuce - the depth of the finish made it look more luxurious.

well, sometimes white works, sometimes it doesn't. that deuce looked great in white, but a C50 to me doesn't. i had the whole boulevard brochure and in there they show a white C50 from a few angles - and i just can't seem to get one thing out of my head - WHITE ELEPHANT. it's big, white, and heavy, though probably not an actual 'white elephant'.

if it'll help push you AWAY from a white bike, i can tell you that it'll be the colour of your man-juice. muahaha!!! ride THAT!

"Man Juice?!"

I kind of like the the black with white panel look, like a vintage police bikes...

Coming over the canyon I was being followed by a brand new HD FatBoy in white.
The rider was older in age and seemed newer to riding than me.
I um...was...well, all white would'nt be a preference as far as myself picking a color.

Who cares what we think. What do YOU think? If you like it, buy it. You can always have a painter add some touches to it to really make it yours. Some people may think copper is a panzy color, stuck in the 70's (I'm not one, I like it, but just making a point!). Greg still would have bought his...'cause it's what he likes. Just my opinion.

This was my first bike:

Some of the best looking bikes I have ever seen were white. I painted my shovelhead white, and get lots of compliments. Some other people don't like white bikes. I don't like black ones as a general rule. Some people won;t buy anything BUT black.
Get what YOU like. Don;t worry about resell- as long as you stick to a factory color, someone else will like it too. After all, if no one liked white, Suzuki wouldn't offer it, would they?

Umm ... one of the proud owners of a limited edition C50c in white with gold and silver ghost flames. I didn't really want a white bike, but I love the way suzuki did the limited -- mag wheels, studded seat, floor boards and ghost flames.. Consider me converted..

In all seriousness, I would buy whatever you can afford and definately buy what YOU like.. You never know how long you will be riding it!!
