I have a 1999 Chrysler Cirrus and every time I turn the corner sharply, there's a whirring noise under the hood. It usually stays there for a while increasing in volume as I drive. What do you think this is? And How pricey is it?

umm WOW um thats really hard to tell without hearing it! um Are your tires pumped well? um does it squeal a little? I would check ur power steering level too. my Topaz has a squeal noise to it at times. it dont rattle? then its probalby not the joints and things under the hood. I would be willing to bet that it has something to do with either ur tires or the power steering. if its either of these its probably gonna be a max of $200
if its the power steering pump depending upon your engine its right on the pulleys like an alternator and should be easy to do ur self inside of a couple of hours.
GOOD LUCK
