I have a mix breed dog (the dog in my little photo) who whines when she plays with small plush squeaky toys. She loves all toys and is fine with other squeaky toys but any time she gets hold of a little one she picks it up gently and walks off whining. She nibbles on it and nudges it with her nose and then whines again. Does she think it's a puppy? It's not an issue, i just don't play with those toys because i don't want to encourage it, but i've never seen any of my dogs do this and was curious? Any thoughts?
