After this huge snow storm today, the roads in my neighborhood werent well plowed to say the least and on my way home I go stuck and I kept trying to go back and forth to get out and the DSC light was hard to work, which i understand is a big strain on the electrical system, so much so that it was dimming the headlights and even shut off the radio. I accidentally stalled my car and then the battery was dead and I could also smell a slight burnt smell while all of this was occurring and after I jumped my car and got back home I realized that there is a pretty slight whining noise, nothing too loud coming from the engine bay. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if its just a temporary problem that will hopefully be gone in the morning of if it may be something more serious.
