C Crystal New member May 27, 2010 #1 idling. What causes this? Its a 2000 Ford Focus. Just had transmission work done on it. I dont know if this was a problem pre-work or not because it wasnt warm enough for the ac.

D Dave87gn New member May 27, 2010 #2 the ac runs off the engine..its additional drag. perhaps your engine isnt working at full efficiency, and the added strain stalls it get a tune up
