Idea 1: Looking at Obama's Education Plan and how it impacts LEP (Limited English Proficiency) students. A large part of this paper would include looking at the history of legislation (especially the No Child Left Behind Act) and what it has done for bilingual education thus far.
Idea 2: Looking at various models of bilingual education in the U.S and comparing them to bilingual education models in European and/or Asia countries and ultimately arguing that although they are highly successful in these places, they would not have the same success in the U.S.
