i want to either buy 2-3 glo fish or 1 betta .the tank is heated filtered and has the air pump .or if u have another fish that would be awesome thanx!!!!!! plz dont suggest another tank cuz i only have enough money for that and room so helpers wolud be awesome

A betta is the perfect option for a one gallon tank. I think its best to only have one betta since you cant get a bigger tank

glo fish should have no less then 10 or 20 gallons and no they are not dyed they are genetically modified with genes for jelly fish....and a betta really should not be in there but it has a better chance...as it breath from the surface it breaths air...and NO they are not found in puddles they live in rice paddies that stretch for mile upon miles...not a small puddle less then a gallon....and there is miles and mile of substrate and about 100 to 1000 gallons per fish with miles of substrate as a filter for bio filtration....

if you must put a fish in that glorified bowl please put a betta as nothing else will live long at all

Definitely the betta. Glo fish are zebra danios and they need a lot of space because they're very active fish.

Good luck!

ADD: Glo fish are NOT dyed or injected with anything. They are genetically engineered with a gene taken from jellyfish that expresses a protein that makes the fish fluoresce. It is NOT inhumane at all.

Do not buy glofish and support the practice of dying and injecting fish. Not to mention they get too large for a one gallon tank. A betta would be the only fish that could be placed in that tank.
