A repeal of prop 8 is expected to be put on the ballot in 2012.

June or November? I don't know. Which do you think it will be?




Meanwhile,
we have a federal lawsuit challenging Prop 8 that could likely reach the Supreme Court.
The initial trial begins January 11, 2010.
Then it goes to the 9th circuit court of appeals.
Then, perhaps, the U.S. Supreme Court.

If it gets to the Supreme Court..........
the next question is, WHEN?

late 2011? early 2012? late 2012? 2013?

Depends on when the 9th decides against prop 8. Then the SC has to accept the case. Then it has to be slated. That could happen next session.
