Which will be funner to drive, 2011 US Mazda 2 or 2011 US Ford Fiesta?

Because we have already had both of them in Australia now for at least 12 months, we can answer this.

The Mazda 2 and the Ford Fiesta both share the same floorpan, so from this perspective they both give you the same sorts of feedback through the seat, and they also both communicate well through the steering.
Personally I prefer the Fiesta because it's a little bit sharper, but that's because the Mazda 2's suspension is tuned to be smoother.

If you like the spaceship interior of the Fiesta then that's a good thing, but if you don't then you'll hate it. Likewise, the Mazda 2 inside is more conventional but is just this side of being dull.

If you really don't want to wait, jump across the border to Mexico where both cars are already on sale, now.
