I'm looking to get employed in the not to distant future in a junior web design position.By this I mean web design (front end) rather than web development. I already know HTML, CSS, XHTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks. I also have very basic knowledge of Javascript,E-commerce and Apache Web server and have a small portfolio.
Is this enough to get employed or do I still need to learn the more web development side of things? e,g, PHP, AJAX, MySQL etc. To be honest i'm not crazy about the programming langauages,I'm more into UI design, creating the look of a website but need to know if my existing skills could land me a junior position in a web design company. Would this be possible or do I have to learn other skills?
