Which way does the transmission oil flow in a 97 Honda Civic DX?

Which way does the transmission oil flow in a 97 Honda Civic DX? There are two lines coming into the radiator, one from the top of the transmission, and one from the rear of the transmission. I installed an in-line filter on the line coming from the top of the transmission, with the flow of the filter pointing towards the radiator. Is this correct?
