Which university (in the U.S.) has the most hands-on wildlife ecology/biology classes?

I've just finished my first year of college and am quite bored with sitting around in lecture halls. I want to go into wildlife ecology of some sort, and I want to be able to be outside experiencing it as as possible when I learn. I've tried looking around different university websites, but their course descriptions don't say much at all, and nothing has come up about hands-on experience in everyday classes.

So, are there any universities that have a lot of hands-on classes in their curriculum?
