I'm trying to decide. I used to have a Samsung LN46B530. I had to sell it when I moved and am getting ready to purchase again. The only problem is I'm now purchasing on a budget, but I want the most TV I can get for that price. I have about 700 or so to work with.
I LOVED my samsung, but its a little out of my pirce range (best price I can find is around $800). So here's what I'm deciding between:
Samsung LN40B530 (same model as the one I had, just 40' instead of 46')
Toshiba 42HL167 (don't know much about this TV but the specs and reviews I read are about 50/50. Some people absolutely love it, some absolutely hate it).
So help me decide, if you will. Also, if you know another TV between the 40-46" range for a reasonable price that's comparable, let me know that too. The reason why I like the samsung so much is it had a glossy panel/screen overtop the LCD which really made the blacks and colors stand out.
