Which TV brand to pick?

I have a vizio from costco that I really like, it was cheap for a 36 inch screen. If you want a high end one I would get an Insignia

My husband and I did lots of research on this topic before buying our 42" Samsung LCD TV. We found that SONY, Samsung, and Sharp are the top 3 - samsung and sharp giving you more 'bang for your buck'. I feel that the look of LG was close in the running, but at the time did not have a lot of history/ratings to back it up.
