BQ: Which team is the most underrated?
Overrated - Thunder - Sorry but I'm just not sold on them yet. The season is too early and people are already hyping them up. They haven't played the Spurs, Lakers yet. And they just played the other western conference power, the Blazers. Look how that turned out. So we'll see deeper in the season.
Underrated - Portland. Nobody talks about them much, at least not compared with the Lakers, Mavericks, Thunder. They have the talent to beat any three of these teams. (including the Spurs) in the playoffs.
Now for the Eastern Conference.
Overrated - The Knicks, Okay, they have Mellow, Amare, and Tyson. But neither of those players, except for Chandler, play defense. Mellow is more of a scorer and Amare doesn't play as great of defense as he should for a player of his stature and how he should play defense.
I guess I can't blame them completely. I mean, D'Antoni is their coach and you know whichever team he coaches is bound to be an offense only squad. Just look at the Pheonix Suns when he coached them.
Underrated - The Hawks. The Hawks beat the Heat in their own backyard, not as to say they are better than the Heat because I don't think they would defeat them in a 7 game series. But they are a great team. They had a lead in Chicago, man-handled the bulls for the first half but let the lead slip away. Still, I think it's a good indicator of what they are capable of. Sadly, games have four quarters, and they didn't play for all four.

lmao damn, who the hell picked the grizzilies to come out of the West? Much less win it all. I put the Lakers, Spurs, Mavericks, Portland, over the Grizz. ESPECIALLY with Zach Randolph out for like a couple of months.
