Right now I have 4 12" subs. Two of the subs are sonys 350 RMS (running only 200RMS) and the other 2 are lightning audio 250 RMS (running only 150RMS). Ive got a 2channel amp going to the sony and a 4channel running to the lightnings. I'm not complaining, its pretty d*mn loud. Now I'm thinking about selling all that to a friend and getting 2 15" Hifonics OLM2415 (2 ohms). These babies are 4800 Max and 2400 RMS. I'd get a boss BLX3500M mono amp and run them in parallel (at 1 ohm) , giving both subs 2000 watts RMS. So... which system would be better. The thing is I'm gaining like 3300 RMS watts in power, but I'd also loose 18" of sub surface area. Thanks.
