I still can't decide which short course to take up. I wanted to take up both PHP and Javascript but I think that's not possible?(am i right)

which do you think is better to take up first?why?
im planning to go for an online course which is cheaper compared to the one with the teacher.

is it ok if i go for that option?

I disagree with the previous messages. Javascript is the core for many of the latest hot technologies. PHP is good to know, but not used as often as other technologies in enterprise applications (translation: less opportunity to make money). On top of that, PHP programmers are a dime a dozen. The same can be said for javascript, but it is a technology you cannot get by without knowing. PHP is not really essential.

If you have to pay to learn Javascript and PHP, you're being ripped off. You can easily learn Javascript and PHP with the many free resources on the Internet, many of which is much better than most so-called paid courses (in fact, most of the so-called paid courses are often derived from the free materials).

I say, it is not hard to take up both. If you want to choose one, I recommend PHP, as it is simpler for beginners than Javascript.
