Which sub is better the orion hcca or the re audio xxx?

Both are competition driven subs. The XXX is just a monster, I have known people that have them and they tried to blow up the sub and failed. A couple people that I know have actually sent 5000 watts rms to 1 of them and it still lives today. The 2 subs deliver a different pitch of bass. Both are very hefty subs and will more than do the job. Why the XXX cost so much I have no idea why.
 
io know orion has been top dog in competitive audio for years, i am not farmiliar with re audio.

one thing i know is often companies have good parts and design but if they are smaller often have to charge more to make money.
so companies like fosgate or jl puts out units in the millions and can charge less dollars.

the biggest thing here is system and box design, making sure the sub you choose works well with the amp you use.

there are many great speaker and sub companies out there many will never get the respect they deserve.
