If you want to burn calories, any form of martial arts is the best. You can burn 1,500 calories an hour doing muay thai or bjj.
 
depends on if your trying to loose weight.. or tone your thighs.

i mean of course track will make you loose weight and make your legs a lot stronger

gymnastics i know track is good but gymnastics is fun and you shed pounds like crazy
