Which sport is more difficult to perform professionally, basketball or NASCAR?

We're talking about the level of skill required to become either a pro ball player or pro driver. Which is harder?
 
Basketball, simply because there is a much, much larger talent pool competing to be in the pros. There are tens of millions people that play basketball, how many people do you know that have ever tried racing? Zero? thats what I thought. Only .0001% make it to pro bball where as probably .1% of people that try racing make it, meaning it would be 1000 times easier to make it to the pros in NASCAR.
 
Nascar, you have to drive so freakin fast and stay in position and worry about not crashing whilst sweating like a pig in a small cage inside a car.
