Yeah, considering they had issues with a trio of rather tame cartoons aimed towards older audiences (Class of the Titans, Being Ian, and Spliced) and given the fact that qubo IS a kids' network, unedited, "not too kiddie" Japanese animation will never have a place on qubo.
I mean, this is the network where talking vegetables telling Christian stories, moral lessons told by a lion in a forest, circus animals learning about friendship, aliens exploring scientific lessons, and a trio of penguins learning valuable moral lessons in space take center-stage in prime-time. They had issues with Olympians reincarnated as teenagers in Canada, a trio of brothers getting into mischief, and an island full of crossbred animals having wacky adventures. A lot of what's available from Japan would cause the programmers at qubo to have seizures. So, it's not happening.
Just saying.
