I'm planning on upgrading. I purchased a katana 750 for a first bike (never ridden so much as a pocket bike before), rode that for a while and feel i have outgrown it. I'm a squid...i enjoy doing 130 on the freeway...sue me...I'm planning on getting one of the above bikes for entertainment and am wondering what you guys think i should grab. I'm leaning towards a busa, 186+ mph just sounds like a lot of fun, looks wise though the 749 + handling...I'm considering starting to do track days...so what would work best for that...idk...some input people? :D

I would say to Stick with a Japanese bike if your going to do track days since the bikes and parts are much cheaper and less maintenance than the Ducati and Aprilla. None of the other bikes that you listed make good track bikes. I would recommend getting a Japanese liter bike. GSXR1000, R1, ZX10, CBR1000

I would prefer Yamaha R1
the best there is
i'm not talking about speed
other factors come in
like acc,cost effectiveness

The Hayabusa & ZX-14 have a long wheelbase & will be a huge disappointment on the track. The Aprilia RSV is nimble on the track & has plenty of grunt but is uncomfortable as hell. I recommend the 749 if you insist on getting one of these 4 bikes. Why not get the new R1?
