Which Sequels do YOU prefer to the originals?

Although I loved The Fellowship of the Ring, The Return of the King was just awesome to me. Mind you, The Two Towers wasn't bad either!

The Adams Family Values, one of my favourite kiRAB films ever! Much much better than the original. Wittier script and Debbie was a great addition!

Also I definately preferred Nutty professor 2, Austin Powers 2, and the Mummy returns even if it was a cheesy film I just found it alot more engaging with better characters

I might not necessaroly prefer it but I think Scream 2 is fairly equal to Scream. Tis my favourite movie trilogy even though the last two had some moments I cringe at.

I much prefered 'Back to the Future Part II' to the first. I felt let down with no.3. Part II was so much darker, complex, action packed and still funny.
I'm surprised you prefer Scream 2 and 3 to the first but I love all 3 of them.

Oh and I think Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is the best of the three indy movies
