I am curious which screensaver will conserve the most battery? I usually use date and time which im sure is better than using an animated screensaver??

How about background or wallpapers? I would assume using a all white background would be the least enegery consuming??? Maybe im wrong..

I of course turn the backlight to the lowest...

Any input on this?

The N80 is the only V3 i've owned that had that option and I think it was calculated due to the poor battery life. My E61 and N73 didnt. As far as the first question, I dont think the screensaver you choose makes the difference. I think the time you set for it to activate and the brightness of the screen and all those other goodies are the difference in sparing some juice. Personally, I charge my phones so much that i pretty much have them at full tilt all the time so I never think of conserving.

If a screensaver is a determining factor I would think the time and date is the least taxing. Regarding the wallpaper, there has been some debates on here a few months ago and the general consensus was that the wallpaper selection should have no positive or negative effect on battery life. A light or dark wallpaper will make no difference in power consumption.

Technically the best screen saver is no screen saver. If you need to have something then use the time and date. Anything with the least amount of graphics and most importantly set your screen (back light)to shut down after 30 seconds. That is the easiest thing.
