Which Roman poet criticised rhyme as lazy?

I am looking for a passage I came across a while back. I remember it as more or less criticising rhyme as a cheap device, to gloss over lazy metre and content. I'm NOT thinking of the Paradise Lost preface, which mentions Virgil and makes the same argument.
