Which Raggedy Ann episode was this?

O-k, I remember watching an episode of "Raggedy Ann". I cannot remember what it was about, but it had a bogeyman. I just remember two scenes. One the bogeyman (ghost, green colored if I remember correctly) wailed while floating to its victim, it had a mean expression on its face, but it was probably happy (in the same villains are when they taunt their victims), and it was probably a banshee. The ghost was also floating above a blue staircase located outside, perhaps of a castle? The other scene had the same ghost sitting on a chair inside a house, the chair I think was blue, and someone was looking at the ghost from outside, and it was laughing at them. I think this was "the Pumpkin who couldn't smile", because it is a "Raggedy Ann" Halloween episode, but I am not sure. Does anyone know what this one was? I know it was "Raggedy Ann" episode, I know that much. Can anyone please help? Thanks in advance.

And while we're on this subject, was there ever an episode, possibly of the TV series, that had a scene with Raggedy Ann talking to a caged Raggedy Andy? Possibly with a circus involved? This scene has haunted me for a long time, and I honestly can't remember if I actually saw it or merely dreamed it.

Hmm, I don't think it was the Halloween TV special, I don't recall there being any ghosts at all. Just an old woman who didn't want her nephew(?) to take part in Halloween, so Ann and Andy take an angsty, "Nobody wants me!" pumpkin to the kid to cheer him up.

Maybe it was not a Raggedy Ann and Andy episode or special, but I could have sworn it was one, and I clearly remember seeing the two scenes I was talking about. Does anyone know what they might be from? Hint, the ghost on the chair somewhat looked like Roger from the "Doug" cartoon series, color wise.

Well, there was The Adventures of Raggedy Ann and Andy cartoon series, but finding info on that was has proven fruitless for me.

I imagine that if one remembers something involving Raggedy Ann that they know for a fact could not be from the shorts, specials or movie, there's a good chance it came from the cartoon series.

Be it from a "Raggedy Ann and Andy" episode or not, I would still want to know of the title of what cartoon(s) I am talking about. I cannot believe no one does not know these.

Scene #1: Green ghost (most likely a banshee) wailing with a smirk on its face floating downwards (floating on top of a staircase, which is located on a castle) towards its victim, with its hands reaching out. The ghost shook left to right if I remember correctly.

Scene #2: Male green colored ghost (think of Roger from the cartoon show, "Doug") sitting on a chair, which is floating in mid-air, inside a house. The ghost notices someone is looking from inside, maybe a small boy or girl, and the ghost then smirks at them, and laughs. The ghost is persumably a bogeyman.

Both are animated, and both might be from "the Real Ghost Busters", but for some reason, I think they are from "the Adventures of Raggedy Ann and Andy." I am sorry I am being so vague, but do either of these ring any bells for anyone? Someone has to know them, they cannot be that mysterious.

If it's from The Adventures of Raggedy Ann and Andy, it can be that mysterious.

Really, I can't even find any Youtube videos, let alone information on it.

Even if it might be mysterious, someone is bound to know what animated short or film has the two scenes I am talking about. I described the scenes as best as I possibly could. What more do I need to say?

The scenes that Looneytunes described are from "The Adventures of Raggedy Ann and Andy". The banshee you described was called Beezly, I think. I'm still a little fuzzy about the episode, I only saw it once back when Ch. 11 actually showed a decent cartoon line up, but I remember the episode taking place in either Marcella's play house or her room. Either way, the whole episode involves a book and the story in which Marcella is reading before being called by her mom.

Now alone, somehow the story comes to life because Beezly came out of the book or something. Anyway, both of the Raggedys and at least one of their friends enter the book but Grouchy bear stays behind to guard the safety rope incase the need to return to Marcella's room.

Now in the story book, the Raggedy and the camel at least, (can't remember if the dog was with them or not) meet the sister who's looking for her brother. Somehow they all, (the Rag gang at least) bump into Beezly who keeps demanding for "The Whistle". So the whole group starts whistling and Beez is ticked off.

Somehow at the end the sister finds the whistle in a book that says to blow it. She does just as Beezly is about to attack someone (the Rags or another group of kids but I think it was the Rags) and melts at the sound of the whistle. Beezly is defeated and the Rags come back out of the book just as the thunderstorm outside clears up and Marcella returns.

TheGunheart, you asked about a 'scene with Raggedy Ann talking to a caged Raggedy Andy? Possibly with a circus involved?'
I believe your remembering the "Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure" movie. I remember Andy getting caught but I'm not sure about caged. As for the circus, that was the Camel's daydream/hallucination about a camel Caravan singing and dancing while leading him home...to the Raggedy twins and Marcella.

I hope this helps to clear up a few memories.:anime:

Thank you Vixenmon, but I saw the movie very recently, and the scenes I remember didn't match anything in it (but it still has some of the most kickass character animation I've ever seen).

I'm not sure really if it involved the ragdoll duo, to be honest. But thanks again.
