Which racing game should I get for the PS3?

Hi, so my options are Need for Speed: Shift and Dirt 2..
Tell me which one I should get and a good comparing reason why not just because XXXX is awesome your free to recommend other games that I should have an eye on except for Gran Turismo...
 
Dirt 2, because it has better gameplay and physics. NFS: Shift may look cool, but it brought up a whole new style of gameplay which didn't work out. If I were you I would definitely get Dirt 2. Also if you look at the reviews Dirt 2 got better reviews.
