which phone to get htc or iphone ?

I am currently residing in india. I need to know which phone to buy htc or iphone and which model ?

Also i can pay through paypal please tell me websites which sells htc or iphone online with shipping.

Please tell in detail when answering.

Dont tell me it depends on what you want, i want best mobile.
 
If James, Johnny, and Jane says the iPhone is the best mobile because...
If Jason, Matt, and Jamie says the HTC is the best mobile because...
I can even spin it to..
The iPhone is the best mobile because...
The HTC is the best mobile because...
I have used both, but in the end I sold my iPhone for an HTC.

Then how do you decide which is the best mobile?
How do you know if any of these people (or me) even know for a fact that one phone is better than the other?

If you don't want to be told "it depends on what you want" then you will have to flip a coin to see which is the best mobile.
 
actually i used imate kjam and china iphone 3g i liked htc very much but sold it as new versions are there.

i am interested in current best mobile device.

even if it is htc or iphone.

after reading review i might think about going with htc but there are so many models in htc which htc model should i get.

on xda developers website i saw htc rhodium is the most voted device for 2009 but have not seen a demo of it so cannot say if it is the best.

any suggestions ?
 
i finally went to mobile phone market in my town and search for cheap htc mobile and i found HTC tattoo to be best, however i am new to it now searching on how to install new applications.
