Which Phone is better?

Should i get a LG KP500 or LG U990?

Both are fairly similar, one is locked onto a provider im not with but not a real problem.

The LG KP500 is $229
The LG U990 is $299

The LG U990 is 3G, the KP500 isn't. Does this affect its efficiency at all? I don't really know all that much about phones as you can tell.
