All depends on your personal preference and what you are looking for.
I would say 100% iPhone, but i am sure there are some google fans out there who would disagree.
iPhone offers a bid app store, bigger than any other smart phone and this is a big selling point, but if your not interesting in downloading extra apps then that wont matter.
Nexus One is cheaper, and newer than the iPhone, which can be both good and bad, whilst it may have some newer hardware and software, there will be less available in terms of extras as they will only just be starting to develop them.
If you can wait there is rumoured to be the next generation iPhone due this year, which has so far seen a new model every year for the last 3 years.
