I plan to get a Verizon Wireless, one yr. Contract Plan. Yes, I know the phones are more expensive that way, but in the long run, you save big. I don't really like being comitted for two yrs. anyway. So, I am thinking about getting either the LG env2, or the old Alias, AKA, not the new one with the fancy keys. Thank you very much for your help, and I hope I can get one of them soon!

He is probably talking about the fact of early contract termination fees. there usually around 175 to 250 dollars per line i believe
Why did you not consider the Samsung Alias 2? Mine has been wonderful for about 2.5 months. "The fancy keys" aren't "fancy", they just are amazing in their ability to change layouts and their ability to show alphabetic, numerals, and symbols almost instantly. It's camera/camcorder are outstanding and it's flush with features and the ability to customize.
