Which PHONE have you USED or KEPT the LONGEST?

Sharp 902, I had one for well over a year on active use

I've had a Motorola E398 for a little over 3 years now, but it spends a lot of its time in a drawer and only comes out when I need a backup

I've owned a 3595 for longer than any other phone- about 3 years now. I got it on eBay for $17.

The phone I've owned the longest as my primary phone that I actually use is my Blackberry Pearl. I bought it right when it came out in September. Although it has a few flaws, I'm really happy with it overall and haven't found a better compact smartphone.

I also owned a Sidekick 2 for two separate periods time totaling 10 months. It was a really cool device, and the UI is absolutely amazing, but it's just too limited. Specifically, I needed a phone that I could tether to my macbook, and the sidekick doesn't offer that feature. Furthermore, there are many other issues with the sidekick, including the sidekick 3. The screen is horrible, it's bulky, no mms, terrible camera, etc.

i've never actively used any one phone for more than 1 year, but i've still got all the phones that i've ever used in full working order (except the t720e). i've still got a nokia 3310 somewhere in one of my cupboards from about 7 years ago.

you have my sympathies . i have bad memories with that phone. the display kept on going weird.
that was in the days before the better companies such as Sharp started making the displays for moto.

The Nokia 6800. A little slow, but this phone has been through hell and still works great. The flip-open keyboard is great, too. Been using it for at least three years.

I got an LG 510 in 00 and used it until 02 then my wife wanted it and she used it until late 06. it still works but she wanted a Samsung a930 so I got it for her. best phone I/we ever used/owned

Moto E-815 for 2 1/2 years. Still going strong with original battery! I've turned it off and charged it every night since new. Gonna wait till she dies before I use my new every two with Verizon.

Does it count if it had to be replaced multiple times because it was made poorly? If that does, then the Nokia 6360(First 3 1/2 years of USC), followed by my 6585.

Bought my Nokia 8890 in February of 2001....actually just used it this week for the first time in about 2 years. Still works like a charm, obviously as far as features go its VERY outdated, but in terms of looks IMO it is priceless.

BG - ie Before GSM Nextel i730 for a little under 15 months.

With GSM it was the T637 for 8 months or so. W810i lasted me about 7 months before selling it. Looks like though I might keep my K790a for about 8 months or so. Maybe a little longer until the K850i becomes readily available.
