Despite knowing that they are not for everyone, I am determined to get a 2x Orion barlow for my XT8. However, there are too many to choose from, and I don't know which to get (for under $100).
One reviewer claimed that the regular shorty barlow is just as good as the more expensive 3 element shorty plus. Is this true?
Or is it better to forgo the shorty and get the full sized (I understand that the extra weight is not an issue with the XT8)? Or is the ultrascopic full sized worth the extra money?
I guess I've narrowed it down to those four options. Thanks for your time!
