Which one is worth more...'74 Pontiac GTO or '84 Chevy Corvette?

I currently have a 1974 Pontiac GTO & a friend of mine has offered to trade me his 1984 Chevy Corvette. The GTO is not in driveable condition but it does run & have a straight body, it needs a complete restoration pretty much. However, it has new paint. The Corvette is in good shape with a straight body & he drives it daily. It needs the seats recovered & a few other odds & ends but all in all it's a good looking car for it's age. My question is which one is worth more & is this a good trade?

Your GTO is worth more. Dont trade because then you are going to loose money!! Any muscle car you are going to buy make sure the year is before 1980 because after the 80's the manufactures reduced power and engine sizes therefore their value is not the same compared to their 70's counter-part!!
