Depends on the gas mileage you want to get? I would go with the Tahoe. Lot's of room and fairly reliable from what I understand. I would try to go with the most recent year, only because they're most likely a lot better on gas than in previous years. There's also the hybrid version of the Tahoe, which is going to run you more money but potentially making it up later with the money you save buying less gas. I believe the Tahoe hybrid gets somewhere around 20mpg city, almost more than half of what they used to get, not sure on the open road though.
