if its a 4 ohm subwoofer, thats all it is, the amp determines what the output will be at 4 ohms, the ohms of the subwoofer does nothing but determine how much power the amp will produce. for example if u had a amp that put out 1000 watts at 2 ohms, a 2 ohm sub would be ideal, and theoretically a 4 ohm subwoofer would only be receiving 500 watts from the amp, because of the resistance of the subwoofer.........confused yet?
