Nokia 9300
Nokia N90
Nokia E70
Nokia N72

Speed is relative and is determined by location, connection, memory and processor so it is unfair to use what someone from LA says and compare it to a user in Vermont or Maine or St Louis or wherever. Just too many variables. My guess is that you probably won't notice much difference between the phones anyway.

However, all EDGE devices should run somewhere between 70-90 kbps with the fastest connection being around 236 kbps.

If you can swing it I would get a newer Nokia, they changed the browser, and it is supposed to be the best mobile browser available in the world. try the N73

yeh try the n73 by nokia, good value for price or try SE p990i(smartphone)
both are great phones but i would lean more on the n73
