There are a number of them, and I hope I remember all of them. Puerto Rico is the largest and probably best known. Then there is Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Having spent a year there as a U.S. servicemember, I consider Guam my favorite. Nice weather, pleasant people and the only downside is the occasional typhoon. I have also visited Saipan in the Northern Marianas and enjoyed my visit.
I have not listed any of a number of uninhabited islands or atolls that are claimed by the U.S. If your favorite is one of these please list it.
