serious, direct impact on grasslan? Which of the following potential results of climate change would NOT have a serious, direct impact on grassland biomes in Alberta?
a)loss of ice cover
b)lower levels of precipitation
c)increased global temperature
d)increased numbers of severe weather events

assuming you mean grass land; i reckon:

loss of ice cover might affect it through flooding of low level plains.
lower precipation means it will die of drought
severe weather events - floods might devastate some

I reckon temperature has the least effect as it is only 1-2 degrees C and so grassland will be fine!

The answer could be none of the above if temperature causes drought too........

"A" is probably the best answer since there really isn't ice cover on grassland biomes but the question isn't a valid question since none of them could rationally be assumed to have even a minuscule chance of actually happening where it could be blamed on humans.

It is just indoctrination where you are asked to imagine how horrible humans are for destroying the natural world. It is equivalent to the "what if" you would play with a 5 year old except this is done by political propagandists. You would be wise to realize these are just "what ifs" that aren't going to happen.
