tRNA helps add amino acid bases (residues) to a growing polypeptide chain. rRNA basically makes the ribosome, the site of protein synthesis. mRNA is the intermediate molecule between DNA and protein. RNA polymerase is an enzyme complex that is responsible for transcription from DNA to RNA. Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase makes tRNA molecules.
All of these are intricately connected. In my opinion, I would say that if RNA polymerase was defective or absent, you would not have the mRNA to convey information to any of the following steps. In other words, it would stop the first set of actions of enzyme or catalytic activity.
