I mainly need them for playing games and watching movies. Both are 21.5" monitors. The Philips one has HDMI and my graphics card has an HDMI port. The Samsung one doesn't have HDMI port. But it's contrast ratio is 50,000:1 whereas the philips one is only 25,000:1. So I'm confused. One has HDMI but lower contrast ratio the other one has higher contrast ratio but no HDMI. I've heard that HDMI provides superior graphics. But what will be the case in this situation? Which one will provide better graphics?
Which monitor should I get? Philips e221 or Samsung P2250?
