ok i was thinking about going to the army yet i also think about going to the marines which is harder if anyone knows i want to challenge myself. oh and if anyone knows which would better prepare someone for some type of battle?

well im in the army but my brother is in the marines and i lived with him before i joined to army...and thats why i joined the army because im always up for a challenge and the army has more opportunities like airborne, air assault, ranger, special forces, sapper, etc. it keeps going on. and the marines dont have alot of extra thats y they say once a marine always a marine. i was a soldier now im an air assault soldier. get it. army all the way

If you want the hardest, consider SEAL, Marine Force Recon, Delta Force, and other special forces. If you want something really challenging, join the Coast Guard and be a part of their SAR teams.

Really Alix it all depends on you. Were do you feel the most pride in serving? I have seen guys that could not do one set up even on he incline in his favor. We tried the old PRT sure would have hated to do that each PFT that is for sure it was an a@@ kicker to me but to some and if prepared it became easy.
I'm sure if you was a coach potatoes no matter were you went boot camp is going to be hard. If you are that weak they drop you back or send you packing from winch you came. I chose the branch because I like it and a few oher personnel reason, I was not talked into it.

Marine Corps has the toughest (and longest) BASIC Training. However, if what to be really challenged go for special forces the toughest of course being the SEALS.

Without a doubt army because if you want to challenge your self be an airborne ranger or a cav scout then go special forces there is a saying my friend told "When Rangers are a comin marines go a runin"

Ok Well Army Has lowered its Standards.. But if you go infantry you will get it just as hard.. Dont let Bias answers fool you saying Marines! and such. Army infantry is 14 weeks of training. If you go Airborne you got another 3 weeks of intense training and you would get alot of Respect. Go Rangers. Both infantry is Basic. i dont care what a Marine Says. You should really look into this yourself and not get bias answers from yahoo

The hardest military training the United States has to offer has to be, without a doubt, the Navy SEAL BUDS training.
