Which medication is a better pain reliever?

Which medicine is stronger:
hydrocodone/apap 10/650 or
hydrocodone apap 10/325

from what i have found, the first number represents the hydocodone and the second numer is the tylenol. with less tylenol would the hydrocodone seem stronger?
 
What you are talking about is Vicodin, well at least the brand name. You asked two questions. Which is a better pain reliever. Neither is better than the other, the vicodin with 625 acet. will increase your pain threshold more than the 325. As far as feeling one more than the other, I don't think the acet. inhibits the hydrocodone from working.

Regardless, there is a lot of acetaminophen in there. If you take more than the recommended dose you are at risk of major liver tissue death .. that stuff is toxic to your liver.
 
I only take what I am prescribed. Ive been on the other med for almost 3 years now. Im having surgery next month and im thinking thats why my dr ordered a lower dosage of acetaminophen because im anemic and i have bleeding issues.
 
I thought it was tylenol too. I dont know, I just got a big big list of meds i shouldnt take and tylenol is on it too. But the last time I had surgery I required a blood transfusion of 5 pints within a month of the surgery.
