When I went to Vegas earlier this month I had buffets at Harrah's and the Rio. Both had excellent food and a large selection but neither had desserts that were particulary delicious. The Harrah's buffet is slightly less expensive but has slightly less choice. Overall, I would select the Rio from the two since it was not much more expensive and it had a very large selection (probably double the size of an average buffet).
