I would consider you get the second option because of the higher video memort, good processor, good memory and higher battery life

...and HD movies? Option 1: $799.99
Dell Studio 15.6" Laptop featuring Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6500
It's 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 358MB Video memory, 6 cell battery
8 X DUAL LAYER DVD/CD

Option 2: $699.99
HP Pavilion 17" AMD Turion X2 Dual Core RM-74 2.2GHz
It's 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD, 1918MB Video memory, 8 cell battery
8X DUAL LAYER DVD/CD LIGHTSCRIBE!!!!!!

PLEASE DONT RECOMMENED ME ANY OTHER LAP TOPS .. JUST TELL ME WHICH ONE IS BETTER BETWEEN THE TWO .. DONT WORRY ABOUT THE PRICE!

I personally want to go with dell cause I have had a dell desktop for 6 years now .. now problems at all

I would go with the Dell anyday. For a start it has the Intel processor which is better than AMD, second, i cant believe that a laptop under 700 has 2GB worth of graphics card, third, if you are ordering online from Dell, it sprobably better to get the 7200RPM 320GB HDD if you can because that way the boot time and program loading times are faster (plus external hard drives are cheap as chips) and fourth, I really like Dell.

Given that, the reasons I would go with the HP would be if it really does have a 2GB graphics card, if you are really concerned about battery life or if you really want a bigger screen. (IMHO, lightscribe is pretty useless, especially if you have a label printer)

Hope this helps, either way, enjoy your new laptop!
