missing clutch kicks? Jim Kelly's legacy is being a great QB but also losing 4 consecutive Super Bowls and never winning one. Almost beat the Giants in 1991, but, Scott Norwood's "Wide Right" kick didn't help Kelly. On the other hand, Tom Brady won because of how good Vinatieri kicked in the tuck game and in Super Bowls. Maybe Brady wouldn't have had the same career without that first SB win in his first year starting. That started a dynasty that went the first three years of Brady and Belichick together without losing a playoff game.

I'll go with Vinatieri. The first thing that every one of Brady's jockers say is how many SBs he won. If Vinatieri wasn't clutch and didn't make those big kicks, maybe Brady's legacy isn't as great. Maybe they don't get as many players wanting to come to NE as SB champs and SB losers are a little differnet. We'll never know what would have happened had Adam missed those kicks, but Brady's legacy would be a little different without those rings and MVPs.
 
Then there's Vanderjagt who liked to miss the clutchers anyway.

You have to say it's Vinatieri though cuz he didn't just make one clutch kick, he made several....

Norwood was replaced after that kick by Christie and that didn't give them anymore Super Bowl wins....
 
Vinatieri also went 5 for 5 with the Colts against a stingy Ravens defense that didn't let Peyton get the ball in the endzone all game. That alone should put him as the best clutch kicker.
